 A Few Tickets Remain
Tickets are still available for this Thursday's trip to the US Open Tennis Tournament. The $100 ticket cost includes admission to all stadiums, including Arther Ashe and the bus ride. The bus will leave our parking lot promptly at 7:30am.

Second Summer Singles Leagues
The games have started and schedules have been posted under "Leagues". A new rule allows players of each league to challenge upward any player of the next higher league (not down).

LUKOIL OPEN TOURNAMENT
On Friday, Aug. 8th, the 5th Annual LUKOIL Open Tournament begins on our courts! The tournament runs through Sunday, August 10th and the winners will take home big prize money! Men's and women's Singles and Doubles events will take place. The Men's Singles Champion will take home $2000 and the runner-up will win $1000. The Women's Singles Champion will take home $1000 and the runner-up will win $500. Our high-level club players are encouraged to participate!

US Open Bus Trip
Our annual bus trip to the US Open will take place on Thursday, August 28th. Tickets include entry to all stadiums, including Arthur Ashe. The cost is $100 per person including the bus ride. The bus will depart at 7:30am from the GV parking lot and will leave New York at 7pm. A sign-up sheet will be posted in the clubhouse. This trip is open to members and non-members. Tickets are still available as of 8/26/08

Pizza Doubles is Back!
Our wildly popular Wednesday night Pizza Doubles parties begin this week, May 21st at 6pm. Bring your racquet and your appetite for some round robin doubles followed by pizza and beer on the patio. The cost is $5 for members and $10 for non-members. (If you can't make it by 6pm, come when you can and we'll work you in for the second round!) A great way to meet other members and an especially great way for new members to become involved!

CPR Training Opportunities
Are you CPR certified? If not, please consider taking a one evening, 3 hour course in this important lifesaving technique. The cost is $35 and the class is being held at the Barry D. Brown Health Education Center in Voorhees, NJ. There are three dates available: April 21, June 11, and August 18. Please see the sign-up details under "Event Sign-ups" in our Members Only section. South Jersey's premier tennis club features four excellent indoor clay Har-Tru tennis courts and nine outdoor courts.
